What is pack-rafting :
Packrafts are light inflatable kayaks, small enough to carry in a backpack. They are wide and stable, they are much easier to learn than kayaks and are an extremely friendly way to get on the water for the first time.
Typical pack-rafting day :
First we need to hike to the water. Then your guide will instruct you how to inflate your boat, maneuver a kayak and what safety measures you must follow. From then on we will be paddling whenever possible and walking in between the lakes along the famous Rallarvegen path.
What’s included :
Instruction : your guide will explain how to use a packraft in addition to showing you the way and keeping an eye on your safety.
Equipment : boat, paddle, inflator, flotation vest.
What's not included :
Train tickets, meals, accommodation, backpacks, warm and rainproof clothes.
What to bring :
Waterproof hiking shoes, warm clothes, waterproof pants and jacket, water & something to eat for lunch.
What not to bring :
Avoid bringing valuable, fragile and water sensitive objects when possible. Bring a small waterproof bag for wallet, phone, etc.
Avoid bringing too much or too heavy equipment, since you will need to carry it in the backpack during the hikes.
